Angkor is a magical place where one can see many fascinating temples with a wealth of history. It is difficult to comprehend how so many of these buildings are still there and to know what to admire most: the architecture, of course, but also the bas reliefs and the statues. The iconic huge Angkor Wat, the delicate pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srey, the gigantic faces on the towers of the Bayon, the enormous trees that choke Ta Prohm, all have something different to offer in this complex built between the 10th and the 15th centuries.
