I have had now quite a long experience as a lecturer, dealing with different types of public on a variety of subjects.
The aim itself has not changed over the years: I need to share with the audience my enthusiasm for a particular subject and do so in a clear and interesting way. But how I can achieve this has changed drastically thanks to technology. When I remember all the difficulties encountered with slides, slide projectors and carousels, and compare this with what can be achieved nowadays with PowerPoint, I cannot but be grateful for progress!
I am presenting here a list of lectures I have already given. They vary in length and format depending on the venue, the type of public, whether they are part of a cycle or stand on their own.
To allow you to find what you might be interested in I have chosen these categories
- Lectures on Asia
- Lectures on Europe
- Lectures on France and other subjects
- Cultural briefings
