Nusa Tenggara, the little-known islands

Tags:

The Lesser Sunda islands, east of Bali, offer a great variety of landscapes and traditions. The region has been named Wallacea, after Alfred Wallace, who was the first to realise how these islands represented the steppingstones between Southeast Asia and Australia.
