A chronology of some ancient sites

I have found that ancient sites are not always easy to appreciate as many require a lot of imagination. It is also difficult to remember how they relate to each other in terms of time. This is why I have put together this very short timeline showing some of the best -known sites. There are obviously much more complete lists on the Internet which anyone with can consult if they are interested.
